BELT SUPPORTING DEVICE IN BELT TYPE CONTINUOUS CASTING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To secure the stability of a belt and to improve the quality by arranging the fin roll dispersing a magnetic fin among non-magnetic fins on the respective back face of the belt located near the molten metal level of a molten metal. CONSTITUTION:A fin roll 15 is made by arranging a magnetic fin 16 by dispersing it among non-magnetic fins 17. In the case of the thickness of a belt 3a, 3b being in <=1.2mm two non-magnetic fins 17 are preferably arranged and in the case of >=1.3mm in three pieces. With such constitution the belt is stabilized and the quality is improved.
