PURPOSE:To enable production of high-strength ceramic sintered material having excellent bioavailability, by molding and sintering raw material powder consisting of calcium phosphate compound, alkaline earth metallic salt of silicic acid and silica in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:Raw material powder containing (A) 10-85wt.% calcium phosphate, (B) 10-85wt.% alkaline earth metallic salt of silicic acid and (C) 5-60wt.% silica is molded and sintered. The component A is a substance to form calcium phosphate crystal participating in bioavailability, >10wt.% content drops bioavailability and >85wt.% content makes strength insufficient. The component B is a substance to provide alkaline earth silicate crystal participating in strength, >10wt.% content makes strength insufficient and >85wt.% lowers bioavailability. The component C a substance to improve sintering properties and strength of sintered material, <5wt.% content reduces sintering properties and >60wt.% content lowers strength. |
