PURPOSE:To prevent a molded resin from being deformed by the heat generated from deflection coils by press-forming the deflection coils in saddle-shape, holding it in a specified position and resin-molding it as a part of the deflection coil is exposed. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal deflection coil 8 and a vertical deflection coil 9 are formed such that the coils wound in flat shapes are pressformed in saddle- shape. The inner peripheral side of a deflection yoke of the horizontal deflection coil 8 is exposed by providing a shallow channel 12 in a molded resin 10, while a part of the inner peripheral side the vertical deflection coil 9 is exposed by providing a deep channel 13 in the molded resin 10. Accordingly, the heat generated from the horizontal deflection yoke 8 and the vertical deflection yoke 9 is transmitted from the exposed parts of the deflection coils 8 and 9 to the outside of the deflection yoke. Therefore, excessive heat is not transmitted to the molded resin 10, and bad effect, that is, deformation of the molded resin 10 is reduced.
