PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a superconductive memory circuit and, at the same time, to improve the reliability of the operation of the circuit, by impressing control signals upon a selected superconductive memory loop only and causing a circular current to be discharged and stored contents to be read out and, at the same time, again causing magnetic flux quanta to be fetched. CONSTITUTION:At the beginning of the readout mode, no circuit current 12 is supplied to each of superconductive memory loops 11 respectively storing binary logical information and, when control signals are given from the outside to the Josephson switch Js of one memory loop 11 selected out of the superconductive memory loops 11 only in this state, previously caught one or more magnetic flux quanta are made to flow as a discharging current. When the discharging current is detected from the selected superconductive memory loop 11, a superconductive readout loop 23 is opened and the serial superconductive memory loop group 11 is connected to a circuit current source. Then the magnetic flux quanta are again fetched into the selected superconductive memory loop 11 and a circulating current is produced.
