PURPOSE:To improve testing efficiency by outputting an alarm and interrupting a working stage control when a present position of a positioning member comes within a safety distance, then after changing parameters by restarting the stage control. CONSTITUTION:A backgauge 15 is provided on a backface of a lower die 5 as the positioning member for a work 13 and the safety distance L0 of the backgauge 15 capable of changing through the parameters is set. A test switch, start swich in a service box 23 are switched on in order, a die 11 and the gauge 15 are moved to prescribed positions, when the gauge 15 enters the safety distance L0, the alarm is outputted to interrupt the stage control. Then, the parameters are changed and after the safety related to the positions between the die 5 and the gauge 15 is comfirmed, the stage control is restarted. In this way, the test is enabled to succeed while the safety is comfirmed, the testing efficiency is improved.
