PURPOSE:To clearly distinguish pictures of each communication at the parallel reception of G3/G4 and to improve the utilizing efficiency of a picture memory by allotting recording paper outputting a G3 reception picture and recording paper outputting a G4 reception picture at the output of the received picture. CONSTITUTION:A control section 1 receives a reception request in the unit of pages from each communication adaptor, applies the management in the unit of pages and stores the data in a picture storage device 4. Moreover, in recognizing the end of storage in the unit of page, an output service request is generated, an idle picture output device 5 is awaited, the information of a page to be outputted is checked as soon as the device 5 is idle, which of the G3/G4 reception and storage the picture arises is discriminated, a recording paper allotting device 8 is switched and a picture data is sent to the picture output device 5. The picture output device 5 is used efficiently by the operation above and the time of the stored picture data in standby for the picture storage device 4 is reduced, then efficient operation is attained and a small capacity is enough for the device 4.
