PURPOSE:To mount leads having excellent mass productivity and high reliability by bringing one surface of a silver electrode in opposed two surfaces into contact with a solder tank. CONSTITUTION:Silver paste is screen printed onto both surfaces of ceramic capacitors 1 and baked, thus forming silver electrodes 2. Both electrodes 2 of the ceramic capacitors 1 are held and fixed by leads 4 connected by a tape 3. The surfaces of the silver electrodes, the whole surfaces of which are soldered, are dipped into a liquid paraffin tank, a temperature of which is kept at approximately 170 deg.C and into which stearic acid is introduced, and preheating and the fluxing of solder are conducted. The surfaces of the silver electrodes, the whole surfaces of which are soldered, are immersed similarly into a solder tank 6, a temperature of which is kept at approximately 220 deg.C, and soldered 7. The leads 4 in opposed surfaces are also soldered with solder paste 5 previously applied by heat from the solder tank 6 at the same time. Accordingly, the migration of silver is prevented through a method befitting mass production, and electrode coatings and the leads are fitted with high reliability.
