PURPOSE:To easily adjust the position of an A/C head, by providing a projecting section on the base plate or chassis of an A/C head device, and adjusting the position of the A/C head by revolving the head base plate of the A/C head around the projecting section. CONSTITUTION:The inclination and height of a head base plate 1, namely, the inclination and height of an A/C head are adjusted by rotating supporting screws 4 while a set screw 6 is tightened. The adjustment can also be carried out by rotating the supporting screws 4 after loosening the set screw 6 and removing a base plate 2 from a chassis 7. The head base plate 1 is pushed against the head sections of the screws 4 by coil springs 8 and the screws 4 are seldom loosened because of the coil springs 8 which tend to expand in the section between the head sections of the screws 4 and base plate 2. When the notch 2b of the base plate 2 is moved rightward and leftward after loosening the set screw 6, the base plate 2 revolves in the direction A around a projection 2a. This revolution is made stably and smoothly unless the set screw 6 is excessively loosened. Therefore, fine adjustment can be made accurately.
