PURPOSE:To shorten a measuring time and to reduce costs by conducting injection of fluid, measurement of AE (Acoustic Emission), etc. in a single hole. CONSTITUTION:A packer 1 to which an accommodating element 8 for an AE sensor 10, a preamplifier 13 and a pressure sensor is coupled is set in a boring hole A made beforehand. Pressurized water is fed to packer rubber parts 3 and 6, so that these parts are expanded and brought into contact closely with the wall of the hole. Moreover, a pressurized gas is fed to an AE sensor packer 9 from a cylinder 18 for the AE sensor packer, so that rubber 11 of the AE sensor packer be so expanded as to bring the AE sensor 10 into contact closely with the wall of the hole. Water in a water tank 20 is injected as pressurized water from an injection hole 4 in a fluid injection section 5, and thereby AE due to the plastic deformation or break development of a rock bed or the like is generated. The AE sensor is fitted disengageably between one end of a casing and a base part provided in the end part of the accommodating element 8 for the AE sensor, the amplifier and the pressure sensor. By this constitution, a measuring time of AE or the like can be shortened and also costs can be reduced.
