PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a toothed belt, by making the outside portion and teeth of the belt from an original chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber high in heat resistance, to protect the outside portion from cracks. CONSTITUTION:The outside portion 1 and teeth 3 of a toothed belt are made of a rubber produced by mixing 100pts.wt. of a chlorosulfonated polyethylene with 1-20pts.wt. of one or both of magnesium hydroxide and calcium hydroxide and 1-5pts.wt. of a vulcanization accelerator consisting of one or both of a dipentamethylthiuram tetrasulfide and a dipentamethylenethiuram hexasulfide. |
