PURPOSE:To seal a ring-shed packing pinched between a housing end face and a ring-shaped flange of an end face cover, by pressing it with a ring-shaped projected part provided along all the circumference of the above ring-shaped flange. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped flange 18 is provided to the position capable of facing a rear end face 12 of a housing 10 to a cover 16. Suitable number of holes 36 to insert bolts 24 are provided to this flange 18 in the peripheral direction. To a ring-shaped surface 20 on the side where this flange 18 faces the end face 12 of the housing 10, a ring-shaped projected section 22 is disposed in an array on the inside circumference away from the diametrical position of the hole 36. In fitting a cover 16 to a housing 10, a rubber ring-shaped packing 14 is pinched and the flange 18 is pressed and secured to the housing 10 with the bolts 24. In this way, as projected section 22 presses the rubber ring- shaped packing 14, the inside of a motor can be blocked from the ambient atmosphere completely.
