PURPOSE:To form a fine protective film by applying a hardening material onto a substrate surface and printing the ink made of the synthetic resin material which is hardened by the hardening agent and forming the protective film after the hardening of the ink and carrying out carving work. CONSTITUTION:A substrate surface is applied with hardening agent, and if necessary, a synthetic resin material is applied to form a prescribed shape through printing after drying. After the synthetic resin material is hardened and a protective film is formed, sand blasting is carried out, and a prescribed shape is carved on the substrate surface. Since the substrate surface is coated with the synthetic resin material which is not mixed with hardening agent, the pot life of the synthetic resin material is prolonged, and since a small quantity of solvent is contained in the synthetic resin material, a thick and fine protective film is formed. Further, since the synthetic resin material is hardened by the contact with the hardening agent coated layer applied onto the basic material, the need of the device for hardening said synthetic resin material is perfectly avoided, and sand blasting can be performed at the extremely inexpensive ways.
