摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of falsification, enhance the color density of a transferred image and make it possible to obtain a fluorescent color with high intensity, by providing a first heat-fusible ink layer comprising a fluorescent substance as a main constituent on a heat-fusible material layer, and providing thereon a second heat-fusible ink layer comprising a coloring agent as a main constituent. CONSTITUTION:A first heat-fusible ink layer comprises a fluorescent substance for forming a transferred image having a high color density and a fluorescent color with high intensity. Namely, where the fluorescent substance is used in combination with a coloring agent, fluorescent light with high intensity can be emitted, because a larger amount of the fluorescent substance is contained in the first ink layer provided in proximity to a heat-fusible material layer. To produce a thermal transfer recording medium, a liquid for forming the heat-fusible material layer which comprises a wax and/or a binder is applied in a molten state to a heat-resistant base, and a liquid for forming the first ink layer comprising the fluorescent substance is applied thereto in a molten state. Then, a liquid for forming a second heat-fusible ink layer comprising the coloring agent is similarly applied to the first ink layer to provide the second ink layer, thereby obtaining a laminate-type thermal transfer recording medium.
