<p>PURPOSE:To improve steering stability and durability without any detraction from riding comfortability by arranging a reinforcing layer, at a specified height, between an upper filler and a head filler, and specifying the arranged direction of the reinforcing layer and the cord angle thereof with respect to the tire circumferential direction, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An upper filler 7 is disposed on the tread portion 3 side of a bead filler 6 positioned above a bead wire 1a buried in a bead portion 1. And then, a reinforcing layer 8 formed in one layer is arranged in a gap between both fillers 6, 7 and laid along the outside 7b of the upper filler 7 and the inside 6a of the bead filler 6, in such a range that the height H thereof doesn't exceed 50% of the tire cross-sectional height T. In addition, when the cord of a lower belt layer 5d adjacent to a carcass layer 4 is lowered, for example, toward the right viewing from the tread surface side, the cord of the reinforcing layer 8 is arranged in the counterclockwise direction from the bead wire 1a side toward the tread portion 3 side viewing from outward and above the extended line of an axle. And, the cord angle of the reinforcing layer 8 is set to 15 deg.-45 deg. with respect to the tire circumferential direction.</p> |
