PURPOSE:To increase magnetic flux density and to improve treatment efficiency by forming a magnetic polar plate joined to a permanent magnet into such a shape as the teeth of a comb and mutually separating the heteropoles at the previously set interval and opposing them and broadening the opposite areas and also setting the interval between the heteropoles narrow. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic polar plates 13, 14 respectively connected with the north pole and the south pole of a permanent magnet 12 are formed into such a shape a the teeth of a comb with ferromagnetic material and teeth 13a, 14a of the comb are mutually separated at about 5mm and crossed, and thereby the teeth parts form heteropoles and the lines of magnetic flux flow to the teeth 14a of the magnetic polar plate 14 in the south pole side from the teeth 13a of the magnetic polar plate 13 in the north pole side. Therein, when water is supplied to the feed path 23 of a water treatment equipment 11, water flows down along the flow paths 29 formed between respective teeth 13a, 14a of the magnetic polar plates 13, 14 from the space part 18 of the upper part. Magnetic treatment is performed until it reaches the space part 19 of the lower part and the treated water is discharged through a discharge path 24 and fed to the aimed place.
