PURPOSE:To remove the malodor generated immediately after a kerosene stove is turned OFF, by mixing two kinds of activated carbons having specific substances respectively added thereto before use. CONSTITUTION:Activated carbon having anilin added thereto in an amount of 3-30wt.% (based on activated carbon) and activated carbon having maleic acid, an iron salt and anilin respectively added thereto in amounts of 5-30wt.%, 3-25wt.% and 2-10wt.% (based on activated carbon) are mixed with each other in a wt.% ratio of 40-80:20-60. Anilin is added to activated carbon by immersing activated carbon in an aqueous anilin solution for 2-3hr at ambient temp. before filtering and drying or by passing a gas containing anilin through an activated carbon packed bed to adsorb anilin by activated carbon in a gaseous phase. |
