PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body good in sensitivity by using an electric charge generating material made of a bisazo pigment having plural couplers different from each other in the molecular structure. CONSTITUTION:The charge generating material to be used is made of the bisazo pigment having the couplers different from each other in the molecular structure, preferably naphthol dye coupling components, such as naphthol AS and naphthol AS-SG, and the electrophotographic sensitive body containing as the charge generating material the bisazo pigment using a combination of naphthol AS and naphthol AS-SG as the couplers has remarkably high photosensitivity. For example, the charge generating material represented by structural formula I is used, and this compound is prepared by using a combination of naphthol AS and naphthol AS-SG as the couplers for the biphenyl type diamine components in the molecular structure, and symmetric diamine is used as the diamine component to form the bonding member of the couplers. |
