PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a temperature fuse in the manufacturing process by a method wherein a holder containing the temperature fuse is inserted into the winding core of a wound-up capacitor element and then the capacitor element is flattened. CONSTITUTION:After forming a capacitor element 1, a holder 2 containing a temperature fuse 3 is inserted into the winding core 4 of the element 1. The holder 2 with a tapered edge 5 and an angle 6 making R is provided with a recession 7 containing a fuse 3 as well as other recessions 10, 11 respectively containing in and leading out lead wires 8, 9. After inserting the fuse together with the holder 2 into a winding core 4, the element 1 is flattened. Through these procedures, the fuse 3 as it is contained in the holder 2 is inserted into the winding core 4 so that damage of the fuse 3 by the pressure of the element 1 may be prevented even if flattened as well as the fuse 3 may be fixed at specified position in the winding core 4.
