摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the best data concerned, by detecting the degree of alignment between an eye to be examined and a measuring apparatus at the time of the measurement using an ophthalmic machinery and selecting the optimum value from the range of a plurality of permissible errors corresponding to the detected degree. CONSTITUTION:In an alignment detection mechanism, the alignment beam emitted from an LED 5 is reflected by a mirror 6 and a half mirror 7 to further transmit through the half mirror 7 and an image forming lens 8 and subsequently reflected by a mirror 9 to be received by a beam detector 10 and formed into an image thereon. Setting devices 21a, 21b, 21c set allowance error ranges for automatic measurement of the alignment accuracy of an eye E to be examined and the mechanism. Further, the output signals of pulse counters 22a, 22b and the output signal of a comparator 20C are inputted to an AND circuit 23. The AND circuit 23 is connected to a trigger generator 24 and, when either one of the output signals of the pulse counters 22a, 22b and the comparator 20c become an H-level of a high output signal, automatic measurement is started.
