PURPOSE:To provide the title composition having excellent instantaneous adherability, shelf stability, tensile shear strength, impact resistance and peel resistance, by blending a 2-cyanoacrylate as the main component with a saturated polyester copolymer. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. 2-cyanoacrylate of formula I-IV [R is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy(carbo)alkyl, or tetrahydrofurfuryl; and R' is alkylene] is blended with 1-50pts.wt. saturated polyester copolymer prepared from, e.g., an acid component composed of 20-80mol.% terephthalic acid and 80-20mol.% other arom. or aliph. dicarboxylic acid or the like and an alcohol component such as a 2-10C alkylene glycol and having a melt viscosity of 20-4,500p, a softening point of 45-170 deg.C and an MW of 2,500-27,000 (VPO method), and if necessary an additive such as a shelf stabilizer, an org. solvent, a plasticizer, a thickener, a filler, a heat resistance imparting agent, a colorant or a crosslinking agent.
