<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to input a printing format even for a regular form paper larger in size than a touch panel, by setting four corners of a touch panel in a printing format input device as positioning points, setting one of the four corners as a reference point for coordinates, and calculating the position of the reference point as the touch panel is moved. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inputting printing format data for a regular form paper larger in size than a touch panel of a printing format input device, a printing format for the regular form paper is divided into a plurality of regions I-III, and positioning reference points for each of the regions are written-in. A reference point for coordinates on the touch panel is made to coincide with a reference point on a point for a regular form paper previously determined, and the coordinates of a printing-starting position in the printing format for the first region are inputted. Then, positioning points are designated by operating keys, and the coordinates of the positioning reference point for the next region are inputted. Based on the coordinates thus inputted, the coordinates of a position to which the reference point for coordinates is to be moved are calculated, and the printing format input device 25 is so moved that the positioning point designated by the operating keys coincides with the positioning reference point for the next region.</p> |
