PURPOSE:To provide a plurality of transmission modes with possibility of changing over from one to another suitable mode by furnishing a pair of meshing clutches in spline fitting with a driving and a follower shaft in a PTO transmission system, among which one shall be slidable in the axial direction and free to fit on the shaft on which the other is fitted. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of meshing clutch members 23, 24 to transmit only drive force from the drive shaft 18 are spline fitted on a driving 18 and a follower 19 shaft for power transmission in the PTO system. One of these clutch members 24 is fitted on the follower shaft 19 slidably and in resilient contact with the other clutch member 23 through a spring 27. In this construction, the clutch member 23 shall be slidable in the axial direction through a shifting means 25 and be in spline fitted on the follower shaft 19. The shifting means 25 is composed of a cam 35 and a lever 36 which are installed at the ends of a shift shaft 34 borne at the transmission case 33.
