PURPOSE:To improve service properties with job processing by discontinuing only the job related to a faulty file and carrying out other jobs in case a certain file is not available due to a fault, etc. CONSTITUTION:A job control sentence 15 is applied to a computer system 16 and a job processing program 17 is carried out. Then a file assignment request part 7 gives an assignment request to a file assignment processing part 4. The part 4 assigns files and returns an answer to show the failure of the assignment processing if a faulty file is detected. The part 7 delivers the names of both assignment success and failure files to a job processing part 10. Then the part 10 starts the jobs of only the assignment success files and does not with the jobs of the assignment failure files respectively.
