PURPOSE:To simplify adjustment of the optical axis of a hologram lens by setting a laser module, where a semiconductor laser is positioned, in a prescribed position of a light beam scanner and making the diffracted light incident on a prescribed position of a hologram disk. CONSTITUTION:A laser module 12 is placed on a rotating base 13 of a jig, and the base 13 is turned to set the laser module 12 so that the angle between a line OA connecting the center of rotation of the base 13 and a pinhole 14 of a base 16 and the normal of a hologram lens 5 of the laser module 12 is equal to an angle theta0+DELTAtheta0 of diffraction of the lens 5 according with the wavelength of a semiconductor laser 4 (theta0 is a design angle and DELTAtheta0 is obtained in accordance with a prescribed calculation formula). In this state, the laser 4 is moved in (x) and (y) directions so that a diffracted light 17 from the lens 5 is made incident on the pinhole 14, and it is positioned and fixed. Since the optical axis of the lens 5 is adjusted to the angle theta0+DELTAtheta0 in this manner, the diffracted light is made incident on a prescribed position of the hologram disk at a described angle if the module 12 is only set to the light beam scanner.
