NEW MATERIAL:A complex of tetraethylenepentamine labeled with techneti um-99m. USE:A radioactive diagnosticum for cancer, which performs short time-after injection detection of a cancer site since it possesses high accumulativity to such as cancer and prompt clearance in blood. PREPARATION:Tetraethylpentamine, along with a reducing agent for pertechnetium acid (preferably sodium dithionite, etc.), is initially mixed with a solvent. Then the resultant composition is brought into contact with an aque ous solution containing technetium-99m as a salt of pertechnetic acid to afford a radioactive diagnosticum containing the aimed complex as an active ingredi ent.
