PURPOSE:To achieve tilling of soil in high accuracy, by detachably attaching a wall-forming member between a rotary and a rotary cover acting also as a tilling depth sensor. CONSTITUTION:The oscillation angle of a rear cover 6 of a rotary is detected by a potentiometer 11 and the depth of tilling is controlled based on the detected angle. When the tilling is deep, the tilled earth discharged backward from a tilling rotary 5 is crushed by the collision with a wall face 17 and the uneven control of the level caused by tilled earth block can be prevented. On the contrary, when the tiling depth is shallow, the wall-forming member 16 is detached to enable free oscillation and landing of the cover 6.
