PURPOSE:To display the temperature in an intermediate range display by making both adjacent pilot lamp illuminate at intermediate temperature in the temperature range of the adjacent pilot lamps. CONSTITUTION:A thermometer uses a thermistor Th as a temperature detecting means and temperature from, for example, 140 deg.C to 200 deg.C is displayed in seven stages. A display part 9 consists of seven light emitting diodes D1-D7 as pilot lamps. Seven comparators 11-17 and seven transistor Tr1-Tr7 are used so as to control the illumination of the seven diodes D1.... Further, seven comparators 18-113 whose output terminals are connected to the bases of the Tr1... are provided so as to turn off the diodes D1.... Thus, the diodes D1... are made to illuminate as the temperature rises and when the temperature display is switched, adjacent diodes D1, D2, D2, D3... are made to illuminate at the same time. Thus, an intermediate range display can be made.
