PURPOSE:To enable drinking of a clear and high-quality coffee with simple means, by sealing ground coffee grains in a small pouch produced by laminating plural sheets of hydrophobic fibers in closely stacked state. CONSTITUTION:Fine fibers 4 of a thermoplastic hydrophobic synthetic resin (olefinic resin) are formed in the form of a sheet and plural sheets are closely laminated to form an intermediate layer 3'. Outer layers 3'' having relatively coarse texture and made of the above fiber are laminated to both surfaces of the intermediate layer 3' and partially heated to form embossed weld parts 5. The obtained sheet 3 is formed in the form of a small punch 1 having a proper size. A proper amount of coffee grains 2 produced by grinding coffee beans is put into the pouch and is sealed by heating and welding the outer circumference edge 1' of the pouch. For example, two punches 1 containing the coffee grains are vacuum-packaged in one pack with an aluminum foil laminated with a synthetic resin to obtain a product resistant to the escape of coffee flavor.
