PURPOSE:To instantaneously change scales at need by controlling an electronic scale through a thin film display element and a thin film transistor (TR) formed on a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal 3 of the thin film display element provided on the transparent substrate 1 is controlled by corresponding thin film TR of a driving circuit 200 and cursors 32 and 34 are moved with movement keys 52 of a computing element 5 according to a body to be measured, so that a scale 31 is displayed by a corresponding thin display element. The pitch of an element to be displayed among thin film display elements is selected by pressing a key 53 with a pen tip and a change of scales such as enlargement, reduction, and unit change is made instantaneously at need.
