PURPOSE:To realize the detection of completion of winding a film into a cartridge just after loading the film without increasing assembling states by using a light projecting means for filming data as a part of a leader part detection means. CONSTITUTION:A light receiving element 21 is provided on the optical axis of an image formation lens 20 for filming data on a back cover 22 side and an LED 19 is set on a side opposite to a side containing the film 18 and the lens 20, so that they constitute a photointerrupter so as to provide the function of a film detecting switch. Namely, if the film 18 exists on the data filming optical axis, light beam is not projected in the element 21 and the winding action of the film into the cartridge 9 is continued in the above-mentioned duration. And if the winding is completed, the light beam is projected in the element 21 so as to stop the winding action. At the time of completing the photographing of all the exposures the rewinding the film 18 is started by a motor control circuit and a motor and in this duration a transistor becomes ON and OFF synchronously with the input of a data filming signal and year, month and day are filmed with the flashing of the LED 19.
