PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of ink generated by the lowering in the internal pressure of a receiving case with the change of environment, by forming at least one air hole to the receiving case of an ink replenishing body so as to ventilate the inside and outside of the receiving case with each other. CONSTITUTION:An ink replenishing body 9 is constituted of a receiving case 11 consisting of an ink impregnating body 10a, an ink transfer piece 10b, a box-shaped lower case 11a and a plate-shaped upper lid 11b and a U-shaped groove-like air hole 14 capable of communicating with the outside of the receiving case 11 is formed to the receiving case 11 so as to be flush with the surface, from which the ink transfer piece 10b protrudes to the outside, of the receiving case 11. For example, when the ink replenishing body 9 is allowed to stand at a place where environment suddenly changes from low temp. to high temp. or at a high temp. place for a long time, the pressure in the receiving case 11 is ready to lower but, since the air in the receiving case communicates with the open air by the air hole 14 provided to the receiving case 11 at the predetermined position thereof to flow, the receiving case 11 always holds the same pressure as the outside and the pressure in the receiving case 11 is not lowered and, therefore, the leakage of ink is prevented. |
