PURPOSE:To prevent the exfoliation of enamel from an Al plated steel sheet due to the alloying of the Al plating and to also prevent the generation of bubbles by glazing the surface of the Al plated steel sheet, radiating far IR on the glazed product to be baked and further radiating near IR. CONSTITUTION:The plated surface of an Al plated steel sheet is glazed and the glazed product 4 to be baked is put on the horizontal conveying part of a conveyor belt 3 rotating endlessly in one direction. The product 4 is baked during passing through a radiation zone provided with far IR heaters 1 on the upper stream side of the belt 3 and a radiation zone provided with near IR lamps 2 on the downstream side. Thus, the alloying of the Al plating with the steel base is inhibited at the baking temp. to prevent the exfoliation of the enamel due to the embrittlement of the Al plating, and the generation of bubbles after baking can be prevented because water in the glazed product 4 is efficiently removed in a short time.
