PURPOSE:To automatize operation of removing rice remained in a lift in a rice-cleaning machine having a lift and an air-jet type rice-sweeper by feeding a jet air into the air-jet type rice-sweeper into the bottom of the lift when no grain exist in a feed tank so as to feed the rice remained in the lift into an ascending bucket. CONSTITUTION:When there is no grain in a feed tank 5, a sensor 6 operates to switch a selector valve 23, and a jet air of an air-jet fan 21 is blown into a lift 1 through an air-blasting opening 20 in the bottom of the lift 1. The bottom of the lift is formed to be V-shaped by bottom plates 15, 16 the rice remained in the lift is blown up and fed into an ascending bucket 18, and finally recovered in the feed tank. The remained rice in the lift can be automatically removed by this constitution.
