PURPOSE:To mold a two-layer molded product where creases or a distortion is not generated on the skin, by a method wherein press processing of a thermoplastic resin sheet for the skin is performed between a top and bottom forces after heating, in a molding method obtaining a two-layer molded product by performing the press processing of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin and a thermoplastic resin sheet for the skin. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 2 composed of thermoplastic resin for the skin is held between a top and bottom forces 1a, 1b with a clamp 3. Heating is begun by moving atop and bottom heaters 4a, 4b so that the sheet 2 is placed between them. The top and bottom heaters 4a, 4b are moved outside by heating the sheet 2 sufficiently and a material 5 composed of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin is set to the bottom force 1b. Then a two-layer molded product is obtained by lowering the top force 1a and clamp 3. A period of time from completion of the heating of the sheet 2 until press processing of the same is shortened drastically and a two-layer molded product whose surface is free from creases and a distortion can be obtained.
