Each station of the decentralised token-passing local industrial network includes a microcontroller 24 connected via a random-access memory 26 to an intelligent interface 28, which is itself connected by a transmitter-receiver 36 to the media 16. The microcontroller 24 is connected to an interface 18 for linking to the associated equipment 12 by means of a shared random-access memory 20 to which the equipment and the station have access asynchronously.
