The invention relates to a device for linking between a boot 22 and a cross-country ski 12, comprising a bending blade 14 made from an elastically deformable material permitting pivoting of the boot about a horizontal axis transverse to the ski. According to the invention, in the absence of external stresses, the rear region of the bending blade is inclined upwards and rearwards at an angle alpha of between 5 and 45 DEG . During skiing, as soon as external stresses separate the blade from this position of balance, a return moment is exerted due to the elasticity of the said blade, which tends to re-assume its position of balance. This device is advantageous in that the skier avoids a certain number of superfluous forces. The invention also relates to different embodiments in which the same advantages are achieved. <IMAGE> |
