PURPOSE:To prevent the solidification of a gasket in contact with liquefied gas and the resultant leakages in a push-down type discharge valve consisting of an annular body, an intermediate gasket, cup-shaped body and a spring accommodated therein by installing a charging stem which is forced down to define a passageway between an exterior container and the stem in communication with the side orifices of the valve body. CONSTITUTION:On forcing down a discharge stem, contents in an inner container 2 are discharged through a passage provided in communication with a communicating orifice 11a in the lower end of the stem, stem groove 11b, a space between the upper end of a cup-shaped body 7 and a gasket 8, a gap between the cup-shaped body 7 and a valve body 4 and a communicating orifice 4f. In assembling a pressurized container with substances charged therein, a shoulder portion 2a of the inner container 2 is hooked on a curled portion of the container body and, after substances are charged, the valve body 4 is engaged with a neck 2b of the inner container 2. The shoulder portion of the inner container is then forced into the outer container, a mounting cup is clinched and the charging stem 12 is inserted thereinto. The charging stem 12 has a step at its end and a side orifice 12a above the step. When the stem is forced down, the step forces down the gasket 8 to cause a gap between itself and the annular body 9 and provides a passage communicating with the interior of container body 1 through the side orifice 4e of the valve body 4 through which propulsion agent is charged. |
