PURPOSE:To provide flexibility with respect to the size of a product to be packed and the material quality of a packing cover and to enhance working efficiency, by providing the first roll group having the receiving part of the product to be packed provided to the leading end part thereof between the lower and upper drive mechanisms of the first stand so as to grasp upper and lower recessed parts and providing guide rolls before and behind the first stand on both sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:A packing cover 25 made of a vinyl polymer wound in a roll form is inserted in a packing cover feed guide 25 from the rear thereof to be meshed with two upper and lower elastic rolls 9 provided to the first stand 13. The rotary motion of the first stand 13 and that of the second stand 14 are performed in conjunction with each other through a chain 24 and continuously sends out the packing cover 25 to take charge of the packing of a product 26 to be packed. After the total length of the product 26 to be packed is covered with the packing cover 25, a moving table 3 is moved through a moving means 2 and, thereafter, the packing cover 25 is automatically fused to the front and rear of the product 26 to be packed by a fusing device to complete packing and packing work is performed while the same process is successively repeated.
