PURPOSE:To certainly connect the earth of the metal part contained in a head unit, by mounting the coil spring composed of the metal wire material connected to a frame at the stationary end thereof and electrically connected to the metal part at the other end thereof to bring the metal part to a continuity to a frame member. CONSTITUTION:Ink is supplied to a head unit 2 from an ink tank 10 by a fine tube 6 and the tube 6 is covered with a coil spring 5 composed of a metal wire material. One end of the coil spring 6 is fixed to a carriage 9 and the other end thereof is fixed to a metal base frame 7 by a fixing member 8. The metal parts contained in a head unit are a mask M composed of a metal plate, a holder H enclosing a substrate having flow passages formed thereto and a fixing metal fitting B. The mask M is fixed to the holder H through a metal screw 11 and the fixing metal fitting B is also fixed thereto by a screw. An earthing member 1 has such a shape that one end thereof is fixed to the holder H and the other end thereof comes to the vicinity of the ink supply port 12 of the head unit. |
