PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body high in sensitivity and wide in spectral sensitivity up to a long wavelength region by incorporating a specified trisazo pigment in a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The trisazo pigment to be added to the photoconductive layer is represented by the formula in which each of Ar1, A2, and A3 is an optionally substituted arylene group or such a divalent heterocyclic group; Z is an optionally substituted methylene group; and each of A1, A2 and A3 is a coupler residue having a phenolic hydroxyl group, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be enhanced in carrier generating efficiency and intermolecular orientation by the presence of trisazo pigment, and wide in spectral sensitivity up to a long wavelength region. |
