PURPOSE:To regulate the distribution of the charge in the radial direction in the furnace and to stably and efficiently operate the blast furnace by sampling the charge in the region below the central part of the shaft of the blast furnace, and obtaining the analytical value information of the ZnO in the charge in a specified direction. CONSTITUTION:The charge is sampled in the region below the central part of the shaft of the blast furnace wherein the gas temp. is preferably kept at >=700 deg.C, and the ZnO in the charge in the radial direction in the furnace is analyzed. The distribution of the reduction rate in the furnace is obtained from the ZnO distribution information. The charge distribution in the furnace is further estimated from the distribution. The falling positions of the coke, ore, etc., to be charged into the furnace from blast furnace feeders are regulated so that the charge distribution is specified. By this method, the blast furnace is stably, efficiently, and continuously operated. |
