PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible hose, the forming of which is easy, by a method wherein crystalline propylene polymer is employed in a part of fibers used in a tubular cloth and soft material consisting of specified components as thermoplastic polymer used for covering layer is employed. CONSTITUTION:The hose concerned is produced by covering tubular cloth which is woven of fiber with thermoplastic polymer. The fiber contains 5-50wt.% of crystalline propylene polymer. The thermoplastic polymer consists of components a-c. The component (a) is the hydrogenated derivative of the block copolymer represented by the formula (1) and contained by 30-70wt.% with respect to the sum of the components (a) and (c). In the formula (1), A represents the polymeric block of monovinyl-substituted aromatic hydrocarbon, B represents the elastomeric polymeric block of conjugated diene and (n) is an integer having a value of one to five. The component (b) is a non-aromatic based rubber softening agent and contained by 70-30wt.% with respect to the sum of the components (a) and (b). The component (c) is the crystalline propylene polymer and contained by 10-120pts.wt. with respect to 100pts.wt. of the sum of the components (a) and (b). As a result, a horse is obtained wherein the adhesion between the tubular cloth and the thermoplastic polymer covering layer is good, and no separation occurs between them and a hose, the flexibility of which is favorable and the physical properties of the covering layer and the external appearance of which are favorable. |
