PURPOSE:To obtain a package filled with gas enhanced in gas substitution rate and reduced in a residual ratio of an oxygen amount, by holding a jet nozzle between a container made of a synthetic resin having a gas barrier property and provided with a flange and a film for a lid made of a synthetic resin having a gas barrier property to apply primary heat-sealing and, after substituting the gas in the container, removing the jet nozzle to apply secondary heat-sealing. CONSTITUTION:A container 2 has a flange made of a synthetic resin having a gas barrier property and a film 3 for a lid made of a synthetic resin has a gas barrier property. After an obtect 1 to be packed is received in the container 2, the upper surface of the container 2 is covered with the film 3 for the synthetic resin lid and a gas jet nozzle 4 is held between the container 2 and the film 3 for the lid, and the dish-shaped container and the synthetic resin film are subjected to primary heat-sealing at the part other than the nozzle part. The gas jet nozzle 4 is positioned at the end part of the upper flange of the container to inject gas in the container. As the gas to be injected, carbon dioxide or nitrogen gas is used and, after the gas is injected, the unsealed part of the jet nozzle is subjected to secondary heat-sealing.
