PURPOSE:To rapidly perform the packing work of a spherical object, by holding a press lever at the push-in position of an object to be packed and setting the operating region thereof so that the free end part thereof falls above the mount table of the object to be packed and allowing the press lever to synchronously rise and fall. CONSTITUTION:When a press lever 3 is pused-in downwardly, one revolving arm 81 revolves in the direction same to the rotary direction of the first main shaft 31 to rise on the central side and the other revolving arm 81 reversely revolves to rise on the central side in the same way. An object to be packed is mounted on a mount table along with a packing sheet A to be brought to a semi-packed state and, thereafter, when the press lever 3 is pushed in, the revolving arms 81, 81 of each grasping apparatus 6 rise in opposed directions to grasp the base part on the side of the corner parts in a free state of the packing sheet A. When the corner parts in the free state are overlapped on the top part of the object to be packed in the semi-packed state, the packing sheet A wraps the object to be packed along the surface thereof in a spherical form.
