PURPOSE:To provide a tracking adjusting means for moving an engaging piece in accordance with a tracking operation and rotating a ratchet and a rotary board by an amount corresponding to its operating amount, so that a position of a reproducing head is finely adjusted by its operation. CONSTITUTION:An intermittent rotating mechanism 11 for rotating a dial 3 intermittently is constituted of a ratchet 4 and a spherical engaging piece 8. The rotation angle unit is determined by a pitch of a groove of the ratchet 4. A tracking adjusting mechanism 25 consists of a tooth 26 of an engaging piece holding arm 6 and a gear 27. A tracking adjusting knob 31 is fixed to the tip of a power transmission shaft 28. When the knob 31 is rotated with a finger, the engaging piece holding arm 6 is rotated. Accordingly, when the knob 31 is rotated, the dial 3, the ratchet 4 and the gear 5 are rotated within a fixed range. The rotating force moves a head 19 in the direction corresponding to the rotating direction of the knob 31 through gears 5, 13, 14 and 15, and a reproducing head mounting arm 18. In this case, the relation of each stop position of the reproducing head and a position of each tracking corresponding to it is adjusted simultaneously. |
