PURPOSE:To perform perfect and hermetical seal square-folding packing by providing small holes to the tab parts of a packed product free from positional shift by drilling, and folding and uniting said tab parts to heat-seal the same. CONSTITUTION:A packing material F wherein an inner surface is composed of a heat-fusible plastic film and an outer surface is composed of a non-heat-fusible plastic film is folded into a cylindrical form and the inner surfaces of both ends thereof in the lateral direction are abutted and fused to apply a center seal 1 to the packing material F and, during process, a product S is received in the sealed packing material at the almost middle part thereof. The cylindrical tab parts 2 extending from both ends of the product S are cut into a required length so as to be capable of being united on the upper surface of the product at the center thereof and end seals 4 are applied to the tab parts 2 in such a state that gussets 3 inserted at the edges of the product S and both free ends of the tab parts are cut into a V-shape. Small holes 5 are provided to the surfaces of the tab parts on the side opposite to the surface having the center seal 1 at places separated by a required length from the end seal parts 4 on both sides. The parts 6 from the end seals on both sides to the small holes are bonded under heating and pressure and the tab parts 2 on both sides are folded and abutted at the center and the small holes 5, 5 of the tab parts on both sides are mutually fused by a heater. The tab parts are horizontally opened to complete packing.
