PURPOSE:To simplify an intake/exhaust unit by constructing the unit such that intake and exhaust ports are opened/closed through rotation of a disc part having a plurality of holes communicatable with the intake and exhaust ports opening to a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A disc part 2 having scooped central section is fixed integrally to a central rotary shaft 1. Intake and exhaust windows 3, 6 are made through the disc part 2 so that fuel is fed into a combustion chamber in a cylinder 10 when the disc part 2 rotates to match the window 3 with an intake manifold 4 and an intake port 5. Exhaust gas is discharged from the combustion chamber when the disc part 2 rotates to match the window 6 with an exhaust manifold 8 and an exhaust port 7. Cylinder head is bent perpendicularly so that an ignition plug 9 does not block rotation of the part 2.
