PURPOSE:To arrange a silencer to be inconspicuous in its discoloring due to exhaust gas heated to high temperature in the downstream of a catalyst, by positioning an exhaust passage located in the downstream of the catalyst to the inside in the width direction of a car body, when the catalyst is arranged in the exhaust passage of the silencer of an autobicycle or the like. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas purifying catalyst 18 is provided in the upstream side in a silencer 16 of an autobicycle or the like, and the downstream side of the catalyst in the silencer is partitioned into chambers 34 and 36 by a separator plate 32. Exhaust gas heated to high temperature by recombustion through the catalyst 18 is discharged from the chamber 34 and a passage 44 via a chamber 42, hole 52, chamber 36 and a pipe 46, here an outer cylinder 22 especially in the side of the chamber 34 and the passage 44, through which the exhaust gas of high temperature passes, is arranged so as to be positioned in the inside in the width direction of a car body, that is, in the side of a rear wheel 21. |
