PURPOSE:To enhance the working effectiveness and lessen scattering of noise reduction effect by incorporating such a construction that a transformer mounting table serves also as a magnetism shelter plate, and thereby mounting the magnetism shelter plate simultaneously with mounting of transformer. CONSTITUTION:A shelter plate 14b is mounted on a mounting table 14a for a transformer 14 of a high frequency heating device. This allows installation of an aluminum plate 14b in the body consolidated in a single piece with the transformer 14, wherein the aluminum plate 14b is fixed to the wall surface of the oven in order to reduce radiation noises generated with switching of a power transistor by the use of a microwave oven of inverter type. Here the locational relationship between the transformer 14 and aluminum plate 14b can be held constant, and noise reduction effect with less scattering can be accomplished.
