PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molding material containing a resin obtained by blending a phenol resin with a methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene copolymer resin as an essential component, having excellent balance of mechanical characteristics, electrical characteristics, etc., without using asbestos and suitable in electrical component, etc. CONSTITUTION:A methyl methacrylate butadiene styrene copolymer resin having <=70wt.% butadiene composition ratio and >=15wt.% methyl methacrylate composition ratio is dispersed and blended into a phenol resin in an amount of 0.1-60% based on the total of the copolymer resin and the phenol resin and other component is as necessary blended with the above-mentioned composition so that content of the composition is 10-80% based on total molding material.
